CIVIL CAD Training

AUTOCAD

AutoCAD software provides the design and the shape for the products that needs to be created. - It provides flexible and user friendly features with the tools to design the applications and document the workflows. - This involves aggregate and import models for the formats and usually allows the design to get created without any change in source model. - It provides tools to provide the formats by detailed designing the layouts and drawings using the views automatically. - It also has the provision to create detailed design layouts and views can be drawn automatically using the source model.

CIVIL 3D

Civil 3D® civil engineeering design software is a civil design and documentation solution that supports Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflows. Using AutoCAD Civil 3D, infrastructure professionals can better understand project performance, maintain more consistent data and processes and respond faster to change.Tools support Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and help reduce the time it takes to design, analyse and implement changes. Evaluate design options and optimise project performance. More effectively streamline project workflows by automating time-consuming tasks.

STAAD PRO

STAAD or (STAAD.Pro) is a structural analysis and design computer program It can make use of various forms of analysis from the traditional 1st order static analysis, 2nd order p-delta analysis, geometric non linear analysis or a buckling analysis. It can also make use of various forms of dynamic analysis from modal extraction to time history and response spectrum analysis. Additionally STAAD.Pro has added direct links to applications such as RAM Connection and STAAD.Foundation to provide engineers working with those applications which handle design post processing not handled by STAAD.Pro itself. Another form of integration supported by STAAD.Pro is the analysis schema of the CIMsteel Integration Standard, version 2 commonly known as CIS/2 and used by a number modelling and analysis applications.

QUANTITY TAKEOFF

Quantity take-offs (QTO) are a detailed measurement of materials and labor needed to complete a construction project. They are developed by an estimator during the preconstruction phase. These measurements are used to format a bid on the scope of construction. Estimators review drawings and specifications to find these quantities. Experienced estimators have developed procedures to help them quantify their work. Many programs have been developed to aid in the efficacy of these processes.
